R.D. Talley Books Reopens as First Black-Owned Bookstore on Las Vegas Strip
R.D. Talley Books, the first Black-owned bookstore on the Las Vegas Strip, celebrated its grand reopening at a new location in Fashion Show Mall. Owner Roderick Talley initially launched the business through pop-up shops and online sales before establishing a physical store. The community's support was instrumental during the transition, highlighting the store's role as a cultural hub. The bookstore aims to provide a welcoming environment and representation for diverse communities.
