ATIA Appoints CATO Chair Sean Martin to Board, Strengthening Tour Operator Representation
The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has appointed Sean Martin, the Chair of the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) Committee, to its board of directors. This appointment follows Martin's election as Chair at the inaugural meeting of the CATO Committee. Martin will represent the CATO community on the ATIA Board, aiming to integrate the perspectives of tour operators and wholesalers into the broader travel industry strategy. The CATO Committee, under Martin's leadership, will continue to provide strategic guidance for the touring division, working closely with the ATIA Board to enhance advocacy, foster industry collaboration, and deliver value across Australia's touring sector. Martin's appointment adds significant tour operator expertise to the ATIA Board, joining other experienced members like Vice Chair Toni Ambler and Director Brett Mitchell.
