Research Reveals Over 150 Polymarket Wallets Potentially Traded on U.S. Military Secrets
A new research report by the Anti-Corruption Data Collective (ACDC) indicates that more than 150 wallets on Polymarket International may have engaged in trading based on inside U.S. military information. This activity has reportedly attracted copycat bets and raised concerns about the potential for foreign adversaries to exploit signals broadcast by the prediction market. The analysis, first reported by Reuters, highlights the prevalence of likely military insider trading on the platform. ACDC identified 556 wallets, termed 'Orcas,' which typically opened accounts, placed highly successful long-shot bets in niche markets where insiders might have an informational advantage, and then often cashed out. Of these, 152 wallets were exceptionally successful in military and defense markets, collectively earning $8 million with an average win rate of 97.2%.
