Associated Humane Societies Rescues 16 Neglected Dogs from Essex County Home
The Associated Humane Societies (AHS) has rescued 16 severely matted dogs from a home in Essex County, New Jersey. The dogs are currently receiving medical care at the AHS Tinton Falls facility. According to the nonprofit organization, the animals were found in a neglected state, indicating a hoarding situation. While the dogs are undergoing necessary treatment and rehabilitation, they are not yet available for adoption. The AHS, which also operates a large animal shelter in Newark, shared details about the rescue on a donation page, seeking support for the ongoing care of these animals. The organization emphasized that the dogs will be placed for adoption once they are medically cleared and deemed ready for new homes.
