Artist Michelangelo Pistoletto Promotes 'Preventive Peace' Through Global Digital Billboard Project
Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto has launched a new public art project titled 'Three Mirrors', which is being displayed on digital billboards in nine cities worldwide. The initiative, organized by the UK-based digital art platform Circa, aims to promote the concept of 'preventive peace' amidst current geopolitical tensions. The artworks are shown daily at 20:26 local time in cities such as London, Los Angeles, Accra, and Seoul, with additional screenings planned for Milan and Rome. Pistoletto's works reflect his artistic philosophy known as The Third Paradise, which involves three circles representing opposing forces and a central circle where these forces connect to create new elements. The project also includes signed editions, with proceeds supporting Circa's educational programs and the United Nations Global Emergency Response Fund.
