Warm Weather Expected for CIF State Championships in Clovis and Fresno
The CIF state championships for track and field and boys’ volleyball are set to take place this weekend in Clovis and Fresno, California. According to the Los Angeles Times, temperatures in the region are expected to reach the upper 80s°F (around 31°C), making for warm conditions during the events. Buchanan High School will host the track and field championships on Friday and Saturday, with running events starting at 5 p.m. on Friday. Notable athletes include Lawrence Kensinger, a City Section record-holder in shot put, and JJ Harel, a high jumper aiming to defend his state title.
