ROSHN Group Seeks Private Investment for Aramco Stadium Amid Economic Challenges
Saudi Arabia's ROSHN Group is actively seeking private investors for the Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar, a venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. This move is part of a broader strategy to attract external capital to support the Kingdom's economic transformation projects. The ROSHN Group, backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is facing financial pressures due to overspending and lower global oil prices, which have impacted state revenues. The Aramco Stadium, a 47,000-seat facility, is under construction and will serve as the home stadium for Al-Qadsiah FC. The project is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy away from oil dependency.
