White House Constructs UFC Arena for President Trump's 80th Birthday Celebration
The White House is currently undergoing significant construction to host an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event on June 14, 2026. This event is part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the United States and President Trump's 80th birthday. The construction includes a temporary 5,000-seat octagon-shaped arena on the South Lawn, surrounded by a red, white, and blue stage. The event will feature two title fights, including a lightweight championship and an interim heavyweight title fight. President Trump, a known fan of mixed martial arts and a friend of UFC President Dana White, first proposed the idea during a public appearance in Idaho on July 4, 2025.
