Antengene Unveils Preclinical Data on ATG-207 at EULAR 2026, Highlighting Immune Tolerance Potential
Antengene Corporation Limited, a global biotech company, presented its first preclinical data on ATG-207 at the 2026 European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR 2026) in London. ATG-207 is a bifunctional fusion protein designed to promote regulatory T cell induction and immune tolerance. The data revealed that ATG-207 preferentially binds to TGFβRIII, downregulating T cell receptor expression and inducing regulatory T cells. This mechanism aims to address the challenges of T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases by selectively suppressing pathogenic T cells while promoting immune tolerance. The preclinical results showed potent therapeutic activity in mouse models of autoimmune diseases, with reduced proinflammatory cytokine release compared to controls.
