Rain Forecast Delays Red Sox Game Start in Boston
The Boston Red Sox have rescheduled the start time of their Sunday game against the Detroit Tigers due to anticipated rain. Originally set for 1:35 p.m., the game at Fenway Park will now begin at 4:35 p.m. This decision was made after consulting with Major League Baseball, as rain is expected from mid-day into the afternoon. The adjustment aims to take advantage of improved weather conditions later in the day, providing the best opportunity to play the game as planned. The teams have already played two games in their four-game series, with the final game scheduled for Monday morning, coinciding with the traditional Patriots' Day celebrations in Boston.
