King Charles Reportedly 'Furious' Over Beckham Family's Buckingham Palace Birthday Party
King Charles was reportedly "seismic with rage" following a birthday party held for Harper Beckham, daughter of David and Victoria Beckham, at Buckingham Palace in 2017. The event, celebrating Harper's sixth birthday, was hosted by the then-Prince Andrew in his private apartment. David Beckham subsequently posted several photos from the event on Instagram, showing Harper and her friends in the palace's front quadrangle, with Princess Eugenie also pictured with the children. Victoria Beckham, who was absent due to fashion commitments, also shared a photo. The social media posts triggered significant backlash, with former Queen's press secretary Dickie Arbiter questioning the appropriateness of using the palace for a private party and asking if it was becoming a "theme park." The timing of the criticism was particularly sensitive, as it occurred shortly after the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
