Janice Carlisle Geddes Remembered for Her Contributions to Delaware's Cultural and Economic Landscape
Janice Carlisle Geddes, a prominent figure in Delaware's cultural and economic sectors, passed away at the age of 79. Geddes was known for her diverse career, which included roles as a fashion model, Director of Tourism and Economic Development for the State of Delaware, and President of the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in Delaware. Her entrepreneurial spirit was evident in her creation of the Brick Garage/Pack Rats Place, a unique antique shop in Kennett Square. Geddes was also active in community events, organizing a holiday light parade and hosting a haunted house. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, and her legacy is marked by her contributions to historic preservation and local business support.
