Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued Across Multiple U.S. States
Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued across parts of the Northeast, Intermountain West, and Northern Rockies, affecting hundreds of thousands of residents. The National Weather Service has reported damaging winds, large hail, and dangerous lightning in areas including central New York, Utah, Idaho, and Montana. In New York, storms are producing wind gusts up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail, threatening cities like Syracuse and Oswego. In the Intermountain West, gusts of 70 mph have been recorded, with warnings of considerable damage to trees and structures.
