The forecast includes multiple strong tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail, with some hail potentially reaching the size of baseballs. Wind gusts could reach 60 to 70 mph, posing significant risks to vehicles, trees, and structures. The National Weather Service (NWS) has advised residents to take precautions and seek shelter in sturdy buildings. The threat is expected to persist beyond Monday, with a plume of moist and unstable air setting the stage for continued severe weather and heavy rainfall in the coming days.
