According to the San Francisco Chronicle, low stratus clouds are expected to cover areas like Berkeley and Oakland at sunrise, retreating by midmorning. The afternoon will bring mostly sunny skies with some cumulus clouds over the Diablo Range. Temperatures will vary across the region, with highs in the low to mid-70s west of the Caldecott Tunnel and mid to upper 70s to the east. Antioch and Brentwood may reach the low 80s. In the North Bay, patchy fog will clear by midmorning, leading to mostly sunny skies. Highs will range from the 60s at the coast to the upper 70s and low 80s inland. A chance of rain showers exists near Mount St. Helena in the afternoon.
