Wood County Fair Enhances Community Engagement with New Features and Events
The Wood County Fair, a significant community event in Wood County, is set to take place from August 2 to August 9, 2026. The fair, known for its blend of traditional farm exhibits and modern attractions, aims to bring families and the community together. This year, the fair has introduced several upgrades, including remodeled restrooms, improved electric systems, and better ventilation in the Pratt Pavilion. A special dedication ceremony for new flagpoles at the main entrance will honor veterans and serve as a landmark for visitors. The fair will feature a variety of activities, including animal exhibits, fine arts displays, and performances by the Bowling Green State University Marching Band. The event emphasizes community involvement, with local businesses and organizations sponsoring different days of the fair.
