Wellness Project Healthspan Introduces Eight-Factor Health Evaluation System
Wellness Project has launched 'Healthspan,' a new system that evaluates long-term health across eight independent dimensions, moving away from a single 'biological age' number. These dimensions include Cardio Age, Strength Fitness, Active Living, Sleep, Body Composition, Phenotypic Age, Metabolic Health, and Glucose Health. The system integrates existing wearable, training, body, and laboratory data from users, providing transparency by showing the measurements and methodologies behind each result. Crucially, if there isn't enough reliable data for a particular factor, it remains unassessed rather than being assigned a potentially misleading score. This approach aims to offer a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of an individual's health, allowing users to identify specific areas for improvement without conflating different aspects of well-being into one generalized metric.
