Calexico High School Celebrates Class of 2026 Graduation
Calexico High School's Class of 2026 celebrated their graduation at Ward Field, marked by a display of garnet caps and gowns. The ceremony highlighted the diverse experiences of students, including exchange student Cordut Pirvu from Romania, who embraced the binational culture of the U.S.-Mexico border town. The event featured performances of 'America the Beautiful' and the national anthem, along with speeches from student leaders. Graduates shared personal stories of overcoming challenges, such as learning English as a second language, and expressed gratitude for the support from their community. The ceremony concluded with a drone show, celebrating the achievements of the graduates.
