Massive Fire Destroys Devers Fuel Stop Between Beaumont and Houston
A significant fire broke out at the Devers Food Mart Shell station along Highway 90, between Beaumont and Houston, early Saturday morning. The fire, which started before the store opened, quickly engulfed the structure, prompting a large-scale firefighting response. Firefighters from multiple counties were called in to assist as the fire drained the local water system. Despite the extensive damage to the popular roadside stop, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and firefighters remained on the scene for hours to ensure the flames did not reignite.
