Robel Innovation Unveils 'Black Raven' System to Counter Drone Threats in Lebanon
Robel Innovation has launched the 'Black Raven', a new artificial intelligence-based system designed to detect, track, and intercept hostile drones. This development addresses the increasing challenges faced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in southern Lebanon, where they encounter explosive fiber-optic drones launched by Hezbollah. The system's design is informed by the operational experiences of Robel's employees, many of whom are active reservists with firsthand battlefield experience. Black Raven operates through a three-stage process: long-range detection, precision tracking using advanced electro-optical systems and multi-sensor data fusion, and targeted interception via a dedicated weapons station. This modular platform can mount various firearms, allowing for tailored operational use.
