Artemis II Crew Shares Post-Splashdown Snack Experience with Students
The Artemis II crew, consisting of Commander Reid Wiseman and astronauts Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen, recently shared their experiences from their historic moon mission during a 'CBS Mornings' town hall event titled 'Artemis II: A Celebration of Heroes.' The crew discussed various aspects of their mission, including the food they consumed in space. Notably, upon their return to Earth and before being rescued from their capsule, the first snack they enjoyed was peanut M&Ms, which Christina Koch had brought along in her spacesuit pocket. This light-hearted moment was shared with students, highlighting the crew's camaraderie and the unique challenges of space travel, such as the need for crumb-free food options.
