Highmark and Spring Health Enhance Mental Well-being Access Through Partnership
Highmark has partnered with Spring Health to enhance access to mental well-being services for its members. The collaboration integrates Spring Health's platform into Highmark's member app, providing a range of services from daily wellness activities to behavioral therapy and crisis support. The program has shown significant results, with individuals experiencing moderate-to-severe depression achieving remission in an average of four appointments. The initiative has reduced the average wait time for appointments to less than two days, significantly improving access to mental health services. The partnership has enrolled approximately 51,000 individuals, with 78.5% accessing behavioral health services for the first time.
