Massachusetts to Experience Summer-like Temperatures This Week
Massachusetts is set to experience unusually warm weather this week, with temperatures potentially reaching the 80s in some inland areas. According to CBS News, the warmest day is expected to be Tuesday, with several towns away from the coast likely to see temperatures above 80°F (27°C). However, coastal areas such as the South Coast and Cape Cod will remain cooler due to oceanic influences, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. The presence of sea breezes and marine air will continue to affect the region, causing fluctuations in temperature and the development of low clouds and fog. Additionally, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the late afternoon and evening hours.
