EPA Launches Second Edition of 'Blue Pioneer' Environmental Camp in Kuwait
The Environment Public Authority (EPA) in Kuwait has launched the second edition of its 'Blue Pioneer' environmental camp. This initiative, organized in cooperation with the Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine Environment (ROPME), aims to enhance environmental awareness and instill sustainability values among young people. Sheikha Al-Ibrahim, EPA Director of Public Relations and Media and official spokesperson, stated that the camp provides a comprehensive environmental and educational experience for students aged 11 to 13. The program focuses on experiential learning, allowing participants to acquire knowledge and practical skills through interactive activities. Students will visit various sites and institutions across Kuwait, including the Scientific Center to learn about marine life and biodiversity, the fish market to understand marine resources, and EPA laboratories to observe environmental sample analysis.
