U.S. Considers Deploying Dark Eagle Hypersonic Missile in Iran Conflict
The U.S. military has requested the deployment of the Dark Eagle hypersonic missile to the Middle East, potentially enhancing its strike capabilities against Iran. The Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) could provide the U.S. with longer-range options to target Iranian missile launchers. This request comes amid concerns that Iranian ballistic missile launchers have been moved beyond the range of existing U.S. systems. The Dark Eagle, if deployed, would mark the first operational use of a U.S. hypersonic weapon, capable of striking targets with little warning.
