United Airlines Flight from Cabo Diverted Due to Mechanical Issue, Passengers Safe
A United Airlines flight traveling from Cabo San Lucas to Houston was diverted to Monterrey, Mexico, due to an in-flight mechanical issue. The incident occurred on Sunday, involving Flight 579, which was an Airbus 320. The flight had 143 passengers and five crew members on board at the time of the diversion. United Airlines officials have not specified the exact nature of the mechanical problem. However, all passengers and crew members disembarked safely in Monterrey. The airline arranged for a different aircraft to transport the passengers to their final destination in Houston.
