Orthodox Union Hosts Independence Day Event in Jerusalem for English-Speaking Immigrants
The Orthodox Union (OU) Israel organized an Independence Day event in Jerusalem, attracting around 2,000 participants, including English-speaking immigrants from countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. The event, held at the Ramada Hotel, featured speeches from OU leaders and local officials, celebrating Israel's prosperity and honoring those who have contributed to its development. Rabbi Avi Berman, Executive Director of OU Israel, emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by IDF soldiers and security personnel. The event also included emotional tributes to fallen soldiers, highlighting the personal stories of bravery and dedication.
