USSPACECOM Launches First APOLLO INSIGHT Wargame Series to Address Space Threats
U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) initiated its inaugural Apollo Insight Commercial Integration wargame series on March 23, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This event is the first of four planned exercises for the year, focusing on the threat of weapons of mass destruction in space. Participants included U.S. defense experts, government leaders, allied nations, and commercial mission partners. The wargame aimed to develop collective actions and technical pathways to prevent such threats. Discussions emphasized the importance of domain awareness for detection and characterization of threats to U.S. and allied space superiority. The event was attended by representatives from 62 companies and 17 government organizations, including NASA and the Department of Energy.
