Parents File Lawsuit Against Team Travel Source Over Hotel Booking Practices
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Team Travel Source, alleging that the company unlawfully coerces parents into booking hotel rooms through its platform as a condition for their children's participation in sports tournaments. The lawsuit claims that Team Travel Source adds mandatory junk fees to reservations and falsely advertises a Lowest Rate Guarantee, while refusing to honor rate adjustments when lower rates are found directly through hotels. The case, Russell et al. v. The Complete Plan, Inc., is being heard in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The plaintiffs argue that these practices are deceptive and financially burdensome for families involved in youth sports.
