Shooting at Toledo Festival Leaves Multiple Injured, Suspects Sought
A shooting incident occurred near the Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, resulting in at least 12 people being wounded. The Toledo police department reported that the shooting took place on Saturday and involved at least two individuals firing weapons, possibly at each other. Two of the victims are in critical condition. The festival, known for its live music and home tours, was disrupted by the gunfire, causing panic among attendees. Police officers, who were already present at the festival, responded immediately to the scene. An active search for the suspects is underway, and the community is urged to remain vigilant. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine expressed his concern over the incident, emphasizing that summer festivals should be safe environments for families.
