Finland and Scandinavian Countries Advance Towards Integrated Nordic Air Force within NATO
Finland and the Scandinavian countries, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland, are progressing towards establishing an integrated Nordic air force within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Approximately 100 military representatives from these five nations convened at the Combined Air Operations Centre (CAOC) in Bodø, Norway, from August 25 to 28. The primary objective of this meeting was to enhance their integration, allowing for the preparation and deployment of distinct national capabilities within a unified Nordic defensive framework.
