Visit Mobile has deployed new interactive kiosks in downtown Mobile, Alabama, designed to enhance the experience for both residents and visitors. The project, which has been under development for nearly two years, aims to provide easy access to information about local attractions, accommodations, dining options, and events. Located in front of the Downtown Mobile Alliance on Dauphin Street, these kiosks allow users to explore various categories such as 'things to do,' 'places to stay,' 'restaurants,' and a city map. Users can select a business, send its location to an email or phone, add it to favorites, or visit its website directly. A unique feature of these kiosks is a photo booth, offering free photos with various frames, including a Mardi Gras theme, which can be sent to users via a QR code.
