The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation played a significant role in funding a housing project that transformed a portion of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., into homes for formerly homeless veterans. This initiative, which opened in 2019, provides 77 permanent supportive housing units. The project was developed by HELP USA in collaboration with the District of Columbia as part of a larger redevelopment of the 66-acre site. The HELP USA building was the first residential development to open on the former military medical center campus.
