US Study Reveals Long Covid Affects 1 in 6 Patients, Driving Demand for Overseas Treatment
A recent study published in JAMA Network Open has revealed that Long Covid affects approximately 16.3% of COVID-19 patients in the United States, significantly higher than previous estimates of 5-7% by the US Department of Health and Human Services. This study, which analyzed data from nearly 458,000 patients across 58 US hospitals, indicates that new cases of Long Covid continued to rise through mid-2024.
