Hamilton School Expands with New Faculty Hires to Enhance Classical and Civic Education
The University of Florida's Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education has announced the addition of 21 new faculty members for the 2026-2027 academic year. This expansion includes 14 newly hired professors, a visiting professor, a professor of practice, two lecturers, and three previously announced professors. The new faculty bring expertise in diverse fields such as philosophy, political economy, history, international relations, and classical thought. This growth aims to strengthen the school's academic offerings and support its mission to prepare leaders for a free society. The school is also welcoming its first cohort of graduate students for its new Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy programs.
