Neuromodulatory Technologies Offer New Hope for Psychiatric Disorders
Recent advancements in neuromodulatory technologies are providing new treatment options for psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. These technologies, which include transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS), and noninvasive vagus nerve stimulation (nVNS), aim to alter neural activity by delivering electrical stimulation to the nervous system.
