Despite recent storms providing much-needed moisture, the threat of disease remains a concern. Henderson emphasizes the importance of a strategic, multi-layered approach to weed management to stay ahead of waterhemp. The USDA's Crop Progress Report indicates that 63% of Indiana's corn and soybeans are in good-to-excellent condition, reflecting the efforts of local farmers to manage these challenges.
