Seven EU Nations Request Funding for Tourism Sectors Affected by Proximity to Conflict Zones
Seven European Union member states – Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia – have formally requested financial assistance from the EU's proposed €2 trillion Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). These nations, situated on the EU's eastern flank, are seeking support for their tourism sectors, which have experienced significant declines due to "geopolitical developments and security concerns."
