Poland Scrambles Fighter Jets in Response to Russian Strikes on Ukraine
Poland activated its fighter jets and ground-based air defense systems in response to Russian air strikes on Ukraine. The Polish Armed Forces confirmed that their systems reached maximum readiness, although no violations of Polish airspace were recorded. The military operations linked to the Russian strikes concluded without incident. Meanwhile, Ukraine faced a barrage of missile and drone attacks, with significant impacts in regions such as Kharkiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited U.S. negotiators to Kyiv to discuss potential three-way talks with Russia.
