Firefox's Smart Window Integrates AI for Enhanced Browsing Experience
Firefox is advancing its Smart Window AI browsing mode by integrating new artificial intelligence capabilities, aiming to provide a more intuitive and user-centric web experience. Starting today, AI chats within Smart Window can access current web information and display source links in chat responses, a feature made possible through a partnership with Exa. The Smart Window can now also automatically suggest tab groups, helping users organize their browsing, and present visual previews of previously visited pages when users search their browsing history using natural language. This allows users to recall and navigate past content more efficiently, even if they don't remember the exact page.
