Persad Center Enhances Access to Mental Health Support in Pittsburgh
The Persad Center in Lawrenceville is actively working to improve access to mental health support in the Pittsburgh area. As part of the Pittsburgh Foundation’s One Day of Giving on August 4, the center is one of the organizations that will benefit from community donations. The Persad Center focuses on providing mental health services to underserved populations, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility. This initiative is part of a broader effort to address mental health needs in the community, particularly for marginalized groups who may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services.
