Hillsboro Officials Require Traffic Plan for New In-N-Out Amid Congestion Concerns
A new In-N-Out location in Hillsboro, Oregon, is nearing completion in the Tanasbourne area, marking one of the first establishments of the chain in the Portland metro region. While the opening is generating excitement among local residents, it is also raising concerns about potential traffic congestion. Residents like Matt Sander express enthusiasm for the convenience of having the restaurant nearby, eliminating the need to travel out of state for their favorite burgers. However, others, including Owen Fugit, who works near the construction site, are worried about increased traffic in an already busy area. Hillsboro officials have mandated that In-N-Out submit a traffic management plan to address these concerns, which will be reviewed by city traffic engineers and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
