New York City Opens E-Bike Charging Stations and Delivery Worker Hub
The New York City Parks Department has launched the first 'Deliver-ista Hub' in lower Manhattan, aimed at providing safety and support services for the city's 80,000 delivery workers. This initiative includes the installation of e-bike charging stations, offering a dedicated space for delivery workers to recharge their bikes and access other resources. The hub is part of a broader effort to improve working conditions for delivery workers, who play a crucial role in the city's economy.
