Met Éireann Forecasts Return of Warm Weather Amid European Heatwave
Met Éireann has forecasted a return of warm weather in Ireland, with temperatures expected to reach up to 26 degrees Celsius. This comes as Europe experiences widespread heatwaves, with record temperatures reported in Slovakia, Austria, and Hungary. The UK is also anticipating high temperatures, with parts of the country expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius. The heatwave is attributed to the ongoing climate crisis, which is intensifying summer heat and drought conditions across the continent. Despite the warm forecast, Met Éireann has not yet classified the weather as a heatwave due to the lack of consecutive high-temperature days.
