WalletHub Report Ranks States on Children's Health Care Quality and Affordability
A recent report by WalletHub has evaluated the quality and affordability of children's health care across the United States. The study ranked all 50 states and the District of Columbia based on three dimensions: Kids’ Health and Access to Health Care, Kids’ Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity, and Kids’ Oral Health. Massachusetts emerged as the top state, boasting the lowest share of uninsured children and strong health outcomes. Rhode Island and Connecticut followed closely, with Rhode Island having a high vaccination uptake and Connecticut excelling in pediatric care access. The report highlights the disparity in health care quality, with Mississippi, Arizona, Alaska, Montana, and Kentucky ranking lowest.
