Three Arrested in Miami for Counterfeit Clothing and Drug Operation
Three individuals, Yeinys Rodriguez-Canizares, Roynel Matos, and Yassel Darboys, have been arrested in Miami following an undercover investigation into the sale of counterfeit Amiri merchandise and controlled substances. The operation, centered at The Legend Gang Store along Northwest Seventh Street, began in March when an undercover investigator purchased $970 worth of Amiri clothing from Matos. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, along with an Amiri representative, confirmed the items were counterfeit. In April, investigators made another purchase of $1,100 worth of counterfeit Amiri shoes from Matos and Rodriguez-Canizares. The investigation expanded in May to include drug transactions, with an undercover investigator purchasing testosterone for $300 in a deal allegedly arranged by Matos and involving Darboys and Rodriguez-Canizares.
