Anthropic Releases Claude Fable 5 AI Model with Safety Measures
Anthropic has launched Claude Fable 5, the first publicly available version of its Mythos AI model, designed for software engineering, knowledge work, and vision tasks. The model includes safety limits to prevent misuse in high-risk areas like cybersecurity and chemistry. Initially previewed in April, the model was restricted to select partners due to security concerns. Now, it is accessible to the public through Anthropic's API and enterprise plans, with a phased rollout. The launch comes as Anthropic prepares for a public market entry and follows its call for global AI labs to coordinate on safety measures.
