BASF Safety Scouts Program Marks Five Years of Promoting Farm Safety for Children
BASF Agricultural Solutions Canada is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its BASF Safety Scouts program, which aims to enhance farm safety awareness among children. The initiative provides educational safety kits to farm families across Canada, reaching a milestone of 10,000 kits distributed since its inception in 2021. The program is designed to engage children in learning about farm safety through interactive and fun activities. As part of its fifth-year celebrations, BASF is sponsoring the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association's Kids FarmSafe Week, which includes an educational webinar featuring Olympian Kaitlyn Lawes. The program's success is attributed to its ability to equip children with the knowledge and confidence to identify risks and make safe choices, thereby fostering safer farming communities.
