Pope Leo XIV to Host Concert for Peace with Children from Crisis-Affected Countries
Pope Leo XIV is set to host a concert for peace at Borgo Laudato Si' on July 29, featuring an international choir of children and young people from crisis-affected regions. The event, titled 'Canticle of Peace,' will include performances by Andrea Bocelli and the ABF Voices of Choir. The choir, comprising 164 young singers from the Holy Land, Uganda, Haiti, and Italy, aims to use music as a universal language of peace. This gathering marks the conclusion of a 10-day event that brought together choristers and educators to promote mutual understanding and dialogue through music. The concert is part of the celebrations commemorating 800 years since the death of St. Francis of Assisi.
