Haleon Recalls Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels Due to Contamination Risk
Haleon has announced a voluntary recall of four lots of Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels 125mg, available in 120 ct. and 72 ct. packages, due to potential contamination with a diluted propylene glycol-based coolant. This contamination occurred during the packaging process and could lead to adverse health effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The recall affects products distributed between April 13, 2026, and May 14, 2026. Haleon is coordinating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on this recall and is notifying distributors and customers to return the affected products.
